He went to Coffee County HS, and honestly was more of a track guy at the time. Also, I have it on good authority that a bag of bricks probably has 30 IQ points on him.

Coffee should be competing for state consistently but their offense was so schotty for the number of athletes they have. Now they are spread....all spread...all spread. Smh.

Per this article we did recruit him out of CC but
not according to his Rivals profile
After two seasons at Garden City (Kansas) Community College, Hill signed with OSU after having been recruited also by Oklahoma, Alabama, Southern Cal, Baylor, Arkansas, Arizona State, Georgia, Nebraska and Tennessee, among others. Hill finished the 2014 season with rankings of No. 2 in the Big 12 and No. 11 nationally in all-purpose yards (150.9 per game). Big 12 coaches voted him the league’s offensive newcomer of the year, and he also was a member of the Associated Press’ all-conference team.

Sadly, neither of those are exactly rare these days, though dumb is the easily the more common.
