We might as well forfeit the rest of the season.

Yeah he is. He struggles against Mike Evans but he is generally someone you can isolate on the other team's best WR and not worry about it for the rest of the game.

He's a top 10 if not top 5 corner in the league. You clearly don't know anything about football.

The only guy that trashes your season if he gets hurt, and even this is not always true, is your QB.

No corner costs you the year, not Dion, Norman, Sherman, Peterson. Does it hurt? Yes. Costs the season? No.

Now, if Ryan goes down, you can toss the towel.

To this defense he is. We have no depth. Alford is not a CB1

You guys better bring Quinn and the Falcons in on the loop.

I don't think they know their season is over because of Trufant.

And you better tell them quick before they beat the hell out of somebody else.

The pass rush showed up today and ate Carson Palmer's lunch, but not having Trufant will kill this team if we get matched up with someone like the Giants in the playoffs. Trufant is the one guy on this roster who can neutralize someone like Odell Beckham. Otherwise, the pass rush will have to be great every game like it was today.

All of that said, Jalen Collins looked really good today which sort of contradicts the rest of his early career.

The point was and is the season is not over because Trufant is hurt as some insist.

This certainly hurts with him being the birds #1 CB but I was pleasantly surprised with Collins play and Poole has to be one of the top UFA's in the league. Getting Coleman and Freeney back for the stretch run is huge, Beasley is looking more and more like a Khalil Mack clone and Neal is quite simply the most physical SS in the NFL.
