Because certain depression medications can have serious adverse reactions with other medicines, like antibiotics being taken after an operation or infection. That's why I ask that question.

Also why did the AJC include the oxy part? Weird.
The police report above mentions TT said he took a couple of oxies.

Idk why it was the first thing to come to my mind, and I know they mentioned the problem was caused by an adverse reaction to prescribed medicine, but for some reason I feel like this could be CTE related. I know that's a big jump, but other than just being insanely high off of Oxy this is a really weird reaction to have.

Really hope everything turns out well for TT

allergic reaction

His symptoms aren't an allergic reaction. Adverse isn't always allergic. I wonder if he's a diabetic.

Hope he is okay. He is a gamer. Always loved the story where he broke a sink off the wall after a playoff game loss.

Yeah, regardless of what happened, I just hope TT fully recovers.

Well that sucks. Hope it's not anything serious and he recovers quickly.

Hopefully it's just a really bad reaction and he'll be back in May. He'll have to bust his arse to make up hours in the summer sessions. School and football are secondary issues right now, though.

I initially thought diabetes before the ACCPD released the report but it could be anything. Pain meds at 1 am would probably have us all acting very strange as would severe dehydration or an allergic reaction and the list goes on. More details will come out but I hope he doesn't have to miss any PT and returns healthy.

You don't withdraw from classes for a drug reaction...it's bigger then this incident...whatever the underlying condition is...it's causing him such issues as he has to basically throw in the towel.

Hope the guy takes care of himself

I don't think you drop all of your classes due to a bad reaction to some medicine. I may be wrong, but it sounds like he has something more serious to work through.

I'm aware, I'm just trying to remain upbeat because, honestly, there's a real chance that we might not see Thompson play again for UGA, which would make me very sad.

Toxicology report showed no oxycontin in his system, though. Very odd situation.

Wouldn't be surprised if he needed some time to get off pills. Happened to a lot of people I played with that had injuries.

I'm rooting for him, whatever it is.

Yep pain pills are nothing to frick with. Easy to become addicted to them.

Maybe he thought he took oxies.

Possibly. This is definitely a weird situation based on the info we have.

i guess the toxicology report comes from a blood test?

...wonder if they only tested for opiates. I think oxycontin shows up as something different.

we're gonna need kaizen again
