This is being reported by the UGA media guys on Twitter. I didn't see it coming.

What guys? Haven't seen anything on the Twitter bro.

That sucks we couldn't utilize him at all

Kind of odd that he would transfer in the middle of the season. I wonder if something happened to make him want to do this besides not getting playing time.

Probably not. He just wasn't getting the reps and saw the writing on the wall. Don't blame him one bit.

I hate losing a talented guy though. Seems like his stat line was good when he got to play. Maybe he and Pruitt just didn't hit it off.

Caught in the numbers crunch. And the injury crunch. Always figured he could be like what we're seeing out of Godwin in the first few games.
Best of success to him wherever he goes.

The monster block he threw to spring Mckenzie's punt return during last year's Kentucky game will be how I remember him.
DGD, and I hope he tears it up wherever he goes.

Generally the cream rises to the top. There are guys better than him, both at corner and safety.
I did wonder why they didn't move him back to receiver, especially when there was so much concern in the preseason about lack of proven guys beyond the first two or three. But there must have been a reason he got moved from offense in the first place...I recall some speculation that he had lost some burst since the knee injury.
Given the current talent at DB and guys we're recruiting, I'm just not sure he would ever start on defense.

He also might have been a bit nonplussed that, against South Carolina - a team he probably really would have liked to play against, we put in a lot of true frosh during garbage time and he never got to see the field.
Might have something to do with the timing, but that is just a guess.

Dam, I hate that. He was a major talent. Blowing out your knee in a HS Allstar game just sux. Was pulling for him.

He is losing a whole year of eligibility. Would you be dumb enough to do that?

I wondered this as well

His knee must still be a problem. Cause he should've been moved back. Sux

He just tweeted out that he was staying until January... Very weird he would announce his transfer in the middle of the season

Coaching staff completely mishandled his time at Georgia from day one. Had a terrible position coach, then switched him to a position he had no interest in playing. Hope he finds somewhere to play receiver and showcase his talent.
