IMHO "average" BBQ has become hard to find, so I almost take that as a recommendation...

Changes during football season

Stopped in last month at White Plains location and had a sammich. It wasn't there best but I've eaten good BBQ there.

Ill say that one of the biggest benefits of moving to TN is the better selection of bbq. Kinda makes my day.

Carolina Q is alright, but the vinegar sauce sucks.

The one on Hwy 15 on the way to Holcombe's is better...And a lot closer. I wouldn't drive to Holcombe's from Athens. Famous Daves is honestly better than that place.

You in Memphis?

I lived in Memphis for a summer and that BBQ is life-changing.

Pretty sure he's in Nashville.

And Dallas has some good bbq as well. I'm still not sold on brisket but it's pretty good. I just don't go crazy for it like these folks.

I hope he doesn't work for a pharmie in Franklin.
