Yeah I saw it on the news this morning. shite like this makes want to forget about habeas corpus. I hope whatever state they're in has an express lane to death row.

You have the Aussie being killed for fun by 3 black guys and now an 88 year old war veteran being beaten to death by 2 black guys. We all know if this was the other way around there already would be riots in the streets of LA and Oakland. Oprah, Obama, and the ever so racist Reverend would be on news channels everywhere talking about racial equality. If there's any race that is the most racist, it's black people. I'm not saying every black person is racist because there are a LOT that aren't at all, but where are all the tweets by white athletes calling for race wars and the white neighborhood would be dealing with them? When there are clear hate crimes on white people, we justify it as those individuals are the racist ones and bring justice to them. When it's the other way around, complete outrage by the black community showing the thug some high profile athletes and celebrities. One of the only ways to stop racism is to stop turning everything into a racial conflict.

I don't think his life was any more sacred than any other person's, but the fact that he went off to fight, put his life in harms way to defend the rights of the thugs that killed him really adds a little extra to this senseless murder.
