This guy is so weird...

Imo he is going the opposite way in a career

LINK

I could see Miss St.--->Louisville--->UGA.

This guy did the complete opposite and now is in the SEC West, one of the most competitive conferences int he country on a team that he will have a tough time battling for recruits.

lol Guess we will see 3rd and frick It this fall.

To be honest, I'm surprised he's still coaching at the college level. Figured he'd be back in the NFL by now.

I bet he gets really angry when a fast food restaurant gets his order wrong.

Is MSU in such a bad state that this is a good hire for them? They seem to be over the moon about it. One person wrote "I can't help but be excited." That person's life legitimately hurts my feelings.

Come 9/23/17 we will all bear witness to the first 3rd and Grantham in Sanford Stadium history that draws thunderous applause.

*3rd and 12 Eason drops back and hits a wide open Riley Ridley in stride for a 30 yard pick up into State territory.*

The crowd goes wild as bulldog nation loses its collective nut over this once demonic, but now glorious, sight.

He won't feel that excitement when MSU's defense is running around pre-snap trying to figure out how to line up.....

90% of defense is lining up properly. The other 10% is desire, execution, and a little Lady Luck.

This just occured to me...

MSU plays at Jordan-Hare this year. Grantham now coaches at MSU. Tray Matthews still plays for Auburn.

I would love for this game to come down to a hail mary on either side.

The league didn't seem overly eager to keep him the last time around

Grantham is a good coach. Underappreciated by Dawg fans (not better than Pruitt or Kirby... but upper echelon).

He likes a 5-2 front which does a damn good job shutting down the run game.

If we have a deep threat, we can throttle his defenses. But if we can't force them to think about the passing game, we might struggle to establish a ground attack.

Yeah, It shut Bama's rushing game down to a paltry 400 yards, give or take, in 12 SECCG.

When we needed a stop to get the ball back to Murray, our defense got the 3 and out.

When we had to face a deep threat (Amari cooper with over 120 yards receiving), then we couldnt stop the run or the pass.

Take away the deep threat, and we were holding teams scoreless (or stuffing Bama on a 3 and out to win our offense a chance to close out the game)

That game should never have come to that point.

When we needed a stop with a 3 point lead and 3 minutes left, we didn't get it. The run defense was atrocious in that game.

I'll still never understand why Herrera was on the bench most of that game.
