Herschel is a legend and one of my favorite humans that has ever lived. But I really wish he wouldn't say things like this that are so clearly false.

Herschel has always made strange and unbelievable claims. It seems like he has fun trolling everyone a little bit as a way of dealing with fame.

Yeah, I don't think there's any way he could run faster than a 4.6, but it's just awesome that he feels that confident in himself. I'd love to see what he could actually run.

Good for him. I have nothing against him but it's ridiculous how Georgia fans fawn over him.

Agree completely. He doesn't need to make these absurd claims to prove how athletic he is. It's evident from looking at him. He's also claimed before that while in Athens he went months with only eating ten candy bars a day for his only food.
Since I feel so dirty saying critical things of HW let me finish by reminding everyone that he rushed for over 900 yards more than Bo Jackson in college. Keep in mind that Bo played four years and Herschel played three.

I don't get the point of it. He was a great player but one of many to play for Georgia over the years. I guess he's the face of the natty that Georgia fans are obsessed with, but even then, the defense was the more important unit for those teams with all the close low scoring games they played.

Exactly, which among you is gonna call Herschel out?? Who cares if it's a 4.3 or a 4.7, the dude is 53, and could easily beat all our asses... If he says he can beat Chuck Norris in a fist fight I'll believe him.

Are you 12 or something?? Ga fans don't really have much to brag about except for the fact that for three years in a row that we played for the Natty while he was running all over everyone that stood in his way

Herschel was not just one of many...he was the ONE. The hype surrounding him before and after coming to UGA has not been surpassed prior or since. RB's back then weren't built like they are today. OL were his size. He was a FREAK in every sense of the word. Many consider him the best college football player of all time. He was literally unstoppable and everyone knew it was coming. Go back and watch the ND Sugar Bowl where he separates his shoulder on the second play of the game. Still gets 150+ while Buck completes one pass...ONE! Terry Hoage made the play of the game, but Herschel pretty much dominated as usual. He was 18 at the time. Just sayin.
