Wonder if Michel ends up back on kickoffs. He was extremely disruptive last year.

If Barber is punting we will all know that ST remains a complete joke.

We put all of our highly touted freshman on the units, removed Kimbrough and Sony, lost Kosta Vavalas, and just hoped for the best.

Sony and Kimbrough were so dirty on ST last year. I think Sony's still on punt coverage right now (and kickoff return) but them going into bigger roles has hurt our ST, but we also can't afford an injury to either of those guys.

I never want to see Reggie Davis return a kick again in my life, unless we're up by 50 against Georgia Southern.

It's a fair criticism, to be sure. I don't think burning Blankenship's RS is an option.

S Michel was a beast on ST last year. He started the season on ST and he usually was the guy who made the tackle on the kickoffs.

I think the problem is trying to keep the studs off ST to prevent injury. A balance must be found, and we just really need a punter. Also the Kicker needs to kick it out of the endzone and that would eliminate all big plays on kickoffs.

My brother went to the football camp thing done in the summer by the coaches for the fans (It used to be for women only). Each coach shows game film and explains what he does and what he is trying to get his players to do. The coach in charge of the punt team (Ekeler?) told everyone in attendance that the 3 punt protectors should always be offensive linemen, and added, "if you ever see anyone in that position that is not a offensive linemen then I authorize you to come onto the field and call timeout, because I have screwed up."

Unfortunately, we were too far away to make that call for him
