I couldn't watch them yesterday and haven't even seen the highlights...

Did anybody learn anything new from yesterday about how either team might match up with Georgia.

Any new concerns or things possibly to be relieved about?

I still think Tennessee has an under rated defense and an over rated QB. They looked capable for sure, Tennessee is not a bad team by any means, they just don't win games.

Against everything I believe in, I was rooting for Florida yesterday since I think we are more likely to beat them than Tennessee this year.

Butch Jones also still looks like a friendly Subaru owning 55 year old lesbian.

Congrats on winning our bet on the Mizzou/Kentucky game. I will remit payment of two pretend Dallas wood carvings.

Tennessee literally has no ability to pass. They are also extremely thin at many positions on defense.

Florida looks about the same they did under Muschamp. Barely beating UK and a horrible UT team doesn't impress me.

We looked extremely spunky in certain areas (100% on 4th downs!), and Taylor looks beastly at RB. Grier is "pretty good" but leaves a bit to be desired. He's a guy you feel safe with but you wouldn't necessarily want to put the entire game on his shoulders. We have a great group of young receivers. Keep in mind though despite all that...we were down 27-14 with like 5 minutes left.

I think we are FAR better than most UF fans expected this year, but we're not SEC contenders yet. But I mean it's year 1, so that shoudl be obvious. I expected year 3 for us to make noise, now I'll change that to year 2..possibly. Either way (and I said this on our board) I'm counting ole miss, lsu, UGA, and FSU as losses for us this year.

UT is one dimensional toward run and can't defend the short passing game. I think out skill set is a scary matchup for them. We should score easily and force them into a poor passing game.

Tennessee looked like the better team to me top to bottom. They obviously still don't have that killer instinct in finishing off games. Dobbs is dangerous out of the pocket and the UT running backs are very very good. UT looked pretty good on defense MOST of the game with their run D being a little suspect.

Florida is definitely much improved but they still don't have it all together on offense. Grier had some really great throws and some "WTF?" throws. He's young but looks like he could be a really good QB in the years to come. Florida's run game looked pretty good with Taylor and their defense is solid as expected.

I think we roll UT regardless of the Bama game outcome. UF I'm concerned about...

I only saw a small portion of the game but I did see Bricklayer Butch dial up a few trick plays, including the Tebow jump pass executed by Kamara and a pass caught by Rocket Man.

I think we run the table.

If not, at least Florida has to play Ole Miss and that team with Dawgsontop34s and goldendog's favorite running back....

I think we should be able to run on Florida, and get a great pass rush on Tennessee. That doesn't mean we'll necessarily win those games, but we definitely have major advantages in those areas.

UT's passing game is anemic for no reason. They have the WR talent. Dobbs is just a runner and the OL is poor at pass blocking. Their run game, though, is scary. They will run on Georgia. Their defense is pretty decent outside the secondary. Idk why people feel confident about the trip to Knoxville because it's going to be a war.

UF I feel a tad better about. Their OL is meh, their WRs are more meh except the TE, and Grier is still a tad raw (especially on the deep ball). Their defense is pretty god damn good, though. If their offense wasn't so pitiful from the start and actually had some TOP they wouldn't have been gashed so bad by the run in the end.

IMO, if the defense plays well vs UF then you can just use the ground game to come to an inevitable end. Just let Chubb/Michel finish it off and let UF make the mistakes. UT is going to take a lot more because they will run on this Georgia front. My hope is that our balance on offense isnt an aberration because if it comes to a shootout I think we have better tools than they do. Basically, UF just needs a conservative gameplan whereas I think they need to come out guns blazing vs UT
