Herrien

Herrien seems too much a speed only guy. Holyfield seems to have the better game for our offense.

Herrien had several good games last season - UNC, UT, SC, etc.

He's more proven than Holyfield.

Holyfield's freshman year was injury plagued and this year he put himself in the dog house. He looked good this past weekend.

Disagree. Herrien's pretty good.

I don't have an answer for you, but I was extremely impressed with Chubb on Saturday, despite the inferior competition. His vision is incredible. He had a couple runs that were going nowhere, and he either bounced it out or hit a hard cut and created his own space. He still seems a little slow to me though. I think Sony is our best back.

Sony
Chubb
Swift
Herrien
Holyfield

All that said, let's see what Swift can do against an SEC defense. He could move up the ranks FAST.

It's a good problem to have fellas

I dont really want to see Holyfield carry the rock right now if Michel is healthy... not enough carries to go around. Perfect world - I'd like to see us run 35 times a game like this

Chubb - 16
Michel - 10
Swift - 8
Herrien - 2

That's 36. And what has Herrien shown that makes you think he deserves 2 carries? He's not a game changer. Just give those carries to Swift or Chubb.

I'm not as bullish on Herrien... he doesn't have the vision to read the running lanes he should have as a second year guy.

I agree that I'd rather have Chubb, Michel, or Swift get those carries, but Herrien is pretty damn good as a one-cut slasher. He's different from our other backs in that way.

It may be a lot to ask, but I wish he'd do that more. Well, while we're wishing for things - I wish our OL would open up the lane and let them run as drawn...

I've seen nothing with Holyfield that was impressive.

I'm with you, Crow. I think everyone is just dying for Holyfield to be the real deal because he's Evanders son and a Georgia kid. Plus, a lot of people thought he was going to be a lot better than he has shown because of his HS tape.

I'll give you the injuries last year, but he is still down the list this year, and I think it's likely he will find himself 4th or 5th on the depth chart next year if we also land James Cook and I'm not all that high on Cook either, but I think he will immediately be better than Holyfield

If we land both White and Cook, I expect Holyfield to leave. Just my opinion.
