His response was:
I've come to the conclusion that Clemson Def should stack the box with at least 8 players. Hudson Mason is the worst QB under the Mark Richt era.
The guys arm is WEAK. We make Mason beat us, not Gurley.
Tigers win 28-17.

Over confidence is fine with me

If he had watched some early Richt era spring games he'd probably suggest they put all 11 men in the box just for the slightest hope at containing Ronnie Powell.

Has anyone told them how hot it is in athens in august?

Clemson dominated the whole game? They're as bad as Tech fans.

The game wasn't as close as the score implied. You were dominated the whole game.

Depends on how you define weak. Is he Matt Stafford out there? No. But I bet his arm is just as strong as McCarron's.

IMO McCarron has a better arm but if Mason can fine tune his deep throws I think it'll be fine.

We've got gamechangers that can turn those underneath routes into TDs. They just have to stay healthy.
That's JSW, Mitchell, Gurley, and Marshall.
all of them have the ability to create big plays out of nothing.
We don't need to be taking too many home run shots. Just get the ball in our playmakers hands.

Don't forget Reggie mothafrickin Davis

They stacked the box against Murray which is one reason he got so many passing yards. Teams know they can stop our running game and we don't have any break-away receivers who can take it the distance. Hopefully Mitchell will be back and healthy and can change that perception. Our receivers in general really need to take it to another level for us to have a 10 win season.

I agree but I'm hopeful, with a lineup of:
Mitchell
Bennett
Scott-Wesley
Conley
Rumph
And our two most dangerous receivers...
Gurley and Marshall.

What are these guys talking about? Clemson is almost one of the most overconfident fan bases around. They are going to have a good defense but they are going to basically be test driving a brand new car in a very hostile enviroment, and we all know how Pruitt did game planning for Clemson last year. Floyd will have four sacks by halftime and they are going to pull Stoudt and put Watson in there and we are going to crush any confidence that little guy ever had for this season. It is crucial that we start this season off on a good note unlike last year and years before under Richt. I don't think Mason has a strong arm but I agree with everyone he just needs to get the ball to our playmakers and watch the show. Gurley was primed for an unbelievable game last season before getting banged up. I expect him to have 150 rushing and another 60 or so in the air. We win a close one with a Morgan field goal

Though, we won't have JSW due to suspension, right?

3 of those have had knee and ankle issues already...and one is living the thug life...maybe we shouldnt be overconfident...

^This too. Mason has shown the inability to make reads - just because he did good against tech (think about that one) or auburn's porous passing D doesn't show much. And our passing D in the spring game was nothing good and showed the same problems as last year...

That delusional Clemson fan needs to look again at the statistics.
I think Georgia had more yardage.
Georgia lost that game because the refs handicapped Georgia with a bunch of bogus penalties on first down...plus the botched field goal snap that ended up being the difference pointwise.

Maybe I just haven't been paying as close attention as yall, but I thought Mason's arm was perfectly fine last season. I was actually impressed by how much zip he had on it. No he doesn't have the strongest arm in the league and he's not gonna have anyone mistake him for stafford, but 'weak'? Definitely not.
