I'll reserve judgement until he does something on the field. Bench press doesn't help much with guys like Tim Williams speed rushing the edge on you.

Still, that's a big arse dude pushing a lot of weight in relatively effortless fashion. For May, it's something to be excited by

I'm assuming it's to keep arms in correct position. I have to take 5 personal trainer classes to get down payment for gym back and in our first meeting, he went on and and on about how poor of a form people did bench press because they let thei arms spread more than 40 degrees.

The development of this guy and getting Pyke back on track will be the two biggest O-line keys for this year.

I believe its a slingshot. Bench tool that helps overload your bench press beyond what you might normally lift raw. A lot of lifters use them to break through plateaus, etc. Still a beastly lift, and the ease at which he lifts is impressive.

Absolutely all of that is a positive.

I look forward to seeing him kick some arse.

Is Catalina even starting? Thought he was 2nd string.

He has 1 yr to play. He was starting LT and all conference (albeit at Rhode Island). Given the relative lack of experience at tackle for us, would be shocked if he doesn't start.

He is expected to be a starting tackle for us. Before transferring he was considered to be an NFL prospect at tackle

he's not even on campus yet so they can't really call him a starter.

He's got 1 year to play 1 and has everythign we want/need for someone to step in ASAP. It would be surprising if he isn't starting early on.
