Won't be CMR now that he's got a new gig.

Kirby shouldn't be asked to do it.

Hell, Schooty and Pruitt probably won't still be around by the time the game is set.

Chubb?

Dasher is reporting Richt will not be coaching the bowl game. I'm guessing?....either Lilly (if he's not going to Miami too) or Rocker?

Listen, we are paying him an arse load of money, it dang well better be Kirby.

Besides, Bama does not want a guy there that is their biggest competition for recruits.

It's best for all parties, us and bama.

On their board they were saying he better stay on through their title run or they'll be pissed. Personally I'd rather him be signed and delivered to UGA Sunday and spend that month on the road recruiting for us rather than game planning for playoff games.

What a fricked up three days.

If you left early Sunday into the woods hunting or hiking or something and came back out tonight....it'd be pretty far out to read the news.

feel a little betrayed by CMR, honestly. He said he wanted to coach the bowl game, and was going to ask to do it if UGA didnt offer. Now he is abandoning those guys. I dont blame him, but its just not something I thought Richt would do. Assuming Dasher's report is true.

All the facts could not be out, maybe ADGM pissed him off, idk.

Why wouldn't the guy about to be paid $16M+ over the next 4 years not show up for the job?

I couldn't blame him for wanting to get a head start on his new Gig, but don't say one thing and then do another.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he went back on his word. Of course, I don't put him on this grand pedestal like so many do. I personally think he was just a little to showy with his personal beliefs.

I mean it's his livelihood. We don't owe Richt anything and he doesn't owe us anything. He isn't betraying anyone. He knows the game and it goes both ways. The players know that or will soon learn that. Life ain't fair and it's full of these odd arse twists.

Now if RIcht starts poaching recruits, well, I won't feel betrayed but I will have a hearty frick him attitude but that is because, again, I am a Georgia fan and this is a business. I only want what is good for the program but that's an entirely different argument.
