So what's the deal with the game on SECN?

See that have us at noon on the SECN but then they have UF&LSU game at 1:00 also on SECN,are they gonna be on the alternate channel or are we going to be on the alternate channel?

We're not on SECN, it's SECN Alternate. Check your channel guide but it should be a few channels lower than the regular SECN.

the alt channel is dead air until gameday since there's nothing else really to show on there. If you tuned it now it'd be nothing, but should kick up on Saturday.

I personally have never actually seen the alt channel, any time in the past I've ever tuned in it's just the SEC logos or dead air. But on my channel guide (xfininity) it shows the description for the game at noon tomorrow.

My Vol wife watched Tenn vs Sw Tennessee State Teachers and Community Organizers College a couple of weeks ago on the Alt.SEC.

Check online. The name on the channel isn't SEC Alternate....it's Spectrum or something like that.
