So was Donnan and richt has been at Donnan level since 2006. Doesn't mean it's enough.

Look. I am NOT going down the Donnan road again. If you think the SEC was as tough then as it is now, then I don't know what to tell you. You guys need to take a deep breath. We are never as good or as bad as most on here think.

Uga plays 8 teams every year. Only 2 of them have been better over The last 5 years than during donnan's days, while 4 are worse. This proves richt has had an easier slate of regular opponents over the past 5 years.

This is so dumb. Who cares if Alabama and LSU is worse in the 90s then they are now. It doesn't matter. Richt losing to a very good Alabama or LSU team doesn't bother me. It's expected Richt will lose to them because he is not an elite coach.

What bothers me is that he loses to shitty teams constantly. He loses to Colorado, Oklahoma State, UCF, USCe.

Like I said. I am not going down the Donnan road again.
If you think Donnan was as good a coach as Richt, then nothing I say will change your mind. But it does say something about you and your judgement.

And Saban has lost to Mississippi the last two years. He lost to an inferior Oklahoma team in a bowl. Shall we go on?

I am a numbersman, so Some relevant facts proving your point could change my mind, but You never did actually go down the road of the point that I just made. I just provided a fact that proves your original assertion about Donnan facing an easier schedule to be wrong, which you have chosen to ignore, and you think I am The one that lacks judgement? That makes no sense.

What's he won lately? Not big games or titles, that's for sure...

People are overreacting to their win over Oklahoma almost as much as they are overreacting to our loss to UT.

I fully expected us to lose to UT. I did not, however, see the Loss coming on the heels of an epic beat down nor us blowing a 21point lead- in spectacular fashion I might add. I'm not over reacting. Same shat for 15 years. I've simply decided I've had enough.

Exactly. Gets back to the original question of this thread: Why? It's got to be in part the "good Christian man" thing. The administration is the root of the issue.

Our bar should be the same as Alabama: No head coach is allowed to go more than 4 or 5 years without a national title or SEC title or both. If we take that approach and dig into our deep pockets and offer an $8M-$9M a year base salary, we will attract a coach who wins titles with much more regularity. And we'll at least break even on higher bowl revenues.

The Disney is strong in you.

If Richt has won at least 1 NC in the last 10 years...I would give 0 fricks about him losing to UCF.

At the end of the day, Saban can win 8 games for the next 5 years and I wouldn't care because he actually won multiple NCs and SECCGs.
