If that happened, I really hope Richt would call an impromptu presser, announce his resignation without telling McGarity, and then just lambaste the higher ups for running an inept Athletic Department and hindering the sports team due to tight-fisted policies. Basically just drop the mic and walk out. McGarity would need a slew of armed bodyguards around him at all times.

He gazed up at the enormous Arch. Four years it had taken him to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath those eyeglasses. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was alright, everything was alright, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Greg McGarity.
