I never got off, I actually predicted this win in 2 threads

did not make a big deal of it, just predicted that we were due for our 2nd big win of the year

Our defense is mean

Our QB is top notch

Our receivers are serviceable & will get better

We need 2 things - a little more depth and some beefcakes on the O-Line & then watch out - we will compete for the SEC moving forward

I believe that

Our OL is still a detriment at this time but I'm seeing improvement elsewhere. Wish Chaney could have Bobo mentor him a bit on play calling.

Overall, I'm optimistic that CKS will right the ship.

Never got off but I am realistic about Kirby's learning curve and chances of even equaling Richt's success. The key is recruiting. He absolutely has to get these key in-state recruits in red & black especially on the OL and in the defensive front 7. There are plenty of skill players who can get first down yardage behind a stud OL.

I got on last week when he finally decided to simplify the run blocking and the overall scheme. Hopefully he continues to learn. I think the line did pretty well considering the defense they were playing. Not perfect and not dominant but got hats on guys long enough to let the backs find a spot. We got in trouble when we tried to run that trap... glad they only tried a few times.

I noticed today that ties are no longer required with the business suits for Dawg walk. Seems kirby is finally making adjustments...

Anybody who got off the Kirby train in his first season is not a real bright fan. Kirby took Richt's leftovers and has done a reasonable job. Today's win was pivotal. Should have beaten UT except the refs had blinders on.

Kirby is going to be a very good HC. I've been on the train from the beginning and I'll be there until the end.

Our OL is still bad, and we need some more receivers. If we get that, look out boys

Well, the returning players will have a season of Pittman's coaching under their belt and, even if we have to rely on a true freshman, we'll actually have legitimate SEC offensive tackles.

If they all looked like they were running the same play that would be a good start.

W, right? The offense did what they needed to do, they kept Auburn's D on the field. This was a team win.

Ain't read thread but our O play calling is horrible. I can't decide if we have upgraded or downgraded at the OC spot but either way, our offensive play calling is putrid.

Chigbu, Stanley, and Davis has been passed by and our offense is so much better for it. Ridley and Wims are a really good top 2 and Godwin and iMac are perfect compliments to their skill.

This game does make me wonder why the frick we lost to Vanderbilt even more than I already was.

Defense was so amazing today. Best I've ever seen a UGA defense against a top team outside of maybe 2012 Florida.

Special teams and new wr's = better O. Crazy how that matters. ST gave up 10 vs Vandy. We out gained them by a million on O and D. Eason on fire.
