Sinking ship, one of the worst P5 coaching staffs assembled, and an opportunity to come back home and be with family and potentially win the starting job at an SEC School after graduating from the University of Virginia...

He also threw for 3,100 yards and rushed for another 1,100. I would say that's pretty fricking capable of playing the QB position.

The threw more TDs to the opposite team than his own. Sooooo really as a QB he cancelled himself out and then some.

Just because he threw an INT doesn't mean it automatically resulted in a TD for the other team.
If you really think Lambert compares to two SEC QBs that took their team to the BCSCG(one that won it all), then there's really no point in this argument. You've got your homer glasses on, and I don't feel like wasting my time.

Seems to me the point is that D1 snaps are a better indicator of if he can play football at D1 speed.
It appears he can. The unknown is if he will be able to improve in a system with a stronger running game and line.

That's an excellent point that a lot of folks seem to miss. Just because Lambert didn't excel at UVa, doesn't mean that he won't thrive under a corn-fed SEC OL, with legit threats at RB & WR.

Ramsey has the physical tools to play pro. The fact he didn't have this job definitively locked up last year is what concerns me.

DawgNation or 247 had a compilation of talking heads' comments on GL11 getting the nod, and to a one, save Shockley, they have bought in that CMR and Schotty have lost their damned minds.
