If he gives us the best chance to win. I'm all for it.

It's Ramsey and it has been since the beginning of January

Correct. Unless Lambert completely wows the coaching staff over the next two weeks. It's Brice's to lose imo.

I've firmly been in the "It's gonna be Ramsey" camp for some time now - well before G-Day. If it's not, if having 3 years in the system and having been essentially groomed for the position by CMB, then we're in much more dire straits than we feared.

Ramsey's only is a spring practice ahead of Lambert in Schotty's system

What exactly has Lambert shown to say he's taken it from Ramsey? All reports I have heard is that Lambert doesn't look that good at all and Ramsey has had accurate throws and zip.

Are "all reports" just from last Tuesday's extended media session of several drills and 7on7s?

If Lambert takes the starting job in only a few weeks of practice, then we're in much worst shape at QB than I thought.

Richt can frick around all he wants with the rotation of QB's in practice. He doesn't have that luxury once they start scrimmaging. That will be by far the best indicator of where they are leaning. Assuming they give us legit stats....

how many games did Cam start for AU before the won the MNC?...how many games did Marshall start before they went to the MNC game?

Those 2 excelled at JUCO before leaving but they at least had 1 full season of being "the man" to see what they could do.

Lambert wasn't even the full time starter for a bottom feeding ACC school.

I've heard he is still trying to understand the playbook and Shottys signals. Can he get it all down in 6-8 weeks?

so JUCO experience is better than battling to the end in Tally and beating Grantham's NFL laden defense?

Are you really comparing Cam Newton to Lambert?

Both Cam and Marshall were highly rated recruits out of high school that flourished in JUCO. The only reason they were in JUCO is because they had no other choice. Had Cam not gotten into trouble at UF, then UF has another title under their belt. Everyone knew they were going to be good players.

Anyone that watched him play in high school knew he was very capable.

ETA: After his JUCO run, it was obvious to anyone that he was.

experience is better than no experience.

cam/marshall had full seasons of starting. Lambert has played in a few games. I was just saying it wasn't an exact comparison.

Why exactly did Lambert leave UVA?

Was he beaten out by the backup QB?

Wanted to be closer to his girl.

Yes. But this has nothing do with his leaving.
