Yea, my MGR is a Shamecock and they all believe that Spurrier will walk at the end of the year and that SCjr has already contacted Mark Dantonio at Mich ST about the job. Some sports radio guy said yesterday that he was almost 100% certain that Dantonio would be coaching in the SEC this time next year. Dantonio could spell bad news for the rest of us.

Finebaum interviewed some dude yesterday who was hand picked by Spurrier to write his official authorized biography.
He said Spurrier is very aware that he's only 18 wins away( I believe its 18) from being the only coach ever to win 100 games at two different schools. And that he'd be shocked if Spurrier retired before that.
I hope Spurrier stays til he's 90 years old. And still doesn't get his record.

Could be 4 or 5 more years if this season is telling

That would be typical Spurrier. Screw the Carolina program, I'm gonna get MY record. Big ME litte team for that guy.

Spurrier will give us everything he has Sat. Wouldn't surprise me if he beats Richt again. I've seldom seen him out coached, and don't think CMR has it in him to out coach CSS. If he beats UGA this season, it wouldn't surprise me to see him hang it up. I think it'll be hard for him to leave with a losing season, but just don't know how much more gas he has in the tank.

He's done it before

After all he has done, if he loses to KY, UGA, TAM, Missouri, Clemson and more, I will have a t-shirt made. That's how I will remember him.

SC likely has better players than UK. What happened last week. Did he not get out coached?

Believe it or not a lot of Shamecocks are ready for him to go. They believe and I agree that he has taken them as far as he can. Also in 06, after Erk passed and the players had the Erk stickers on their helmets for the Sc game, Richt outcoached him and our D shut them down 18-0 at home. He's not a wizard he just gets his guys more motivated foe the game than Richt does. Maybe some bravado mojo would work. Send his wrinkled arse out in style!

I heard there was a small plane towing a banner over Columbia yesterday calling for his resignation. Couple that kind of thing with all the gravediggers on radio and blogs etc trying to make a name for themselves by burying him and it's only going to get uglier after he loses again this weekend..
Some say the USCe job is his for however long he wants it, but how long can a man with an ego like Spurrier's handle all this criticism?

I don't see him leaving for anywhere at his age. Plus he has a system he runs and it would take him a few years to get it up and running. It's more like wishful thinking on their part.

Just like Dooley was when we was going for 200 wins. He was spending his time on other matters and letting other people kinda run things...

Please for the love of God I hope we hang 50 on his arse the year he retires
Could you imagine next year he announces his retirement and we hang 50 on him in his stadium?

bullshite, They haven't had a better coach ever under that program. Back to back 11 win seasons. Not even old Lou could turn that program around. They got spoiled under the old ball sack. They should be grateful he's still around.

How I wish Richt would get a migraine and have sit out the game and turn over the controls to Schotty. Half a Hundred Saturday would make the season for me. I want Spurrier to be so beaten down in the press conference after the game that he can only ask "Is it over yet?"

shite, I wish Schotty got a head ache and let Richt call it.
