I'd be surprised if he goes anywhere. TN season was disappointing given their expectations but still an improvement over previous seasons. They have 2 pieces of the puzzle, offense and special teams, they just need better players on defense.

They also lose most of their key players on offense and defense. They went from expecting to be in the SECCG to getting handled by Vandy to end the season.

I haven't really been paying attention, but they can't be happy about this, can they? I feel like they would welcome the news of him going to Purdue (if there were any semblance of truth to it at all).

They are losing a TON of playmakers on both sides of the ball, though. Dobbs and Hurd are gone, Kamara is likely gone, and rumors are that Malone might be gone off the offense. Defensively they're losing Reeves-Maybin (who was injured a good portion of this year), Vereen, Barnett, and Sutton. That's a big chunk of their production. They will not be nearly as good next year, and they weren't great this year.

And yet, many of them think they'll have a better team next year.
