Yeah I was refreshing like hell for an hour waiting for the right tix. All the other $150's were 2 tix only. I just happened to get lucky

Unless one of my connects calls me up because they're too fragile to stand in the rain, I'm sitting this one out. Already blew a small wad on Mizzou and UK tickets and will spend a frick ton more during UF weekend on the islands and in Jacksonville.

Skipping the UF game this year sadly, too expensive to get a ticket, hotel, and flight. Problem is these damn UT tickets arent going down either so I am about to be broke.

I'm hoping against hope the Arkansas game goes sour for UTk. Will be able to check that trip off the list with ease if that happens.

Seems to be a lot of that. Rain doesn't bother me one bit

Back in high school we stood out in a damn monsoon for the entire game even though we lost to 34-7

I always put aside a decent amount for that game throughout the year. I know that when I have kids that trip will be the first thing torpedoed so I make sure that I can go every year until then.

That's wise. Unfortunately I made too many other plans and I had to cut something somewhere. Plus, I have to alternate friends willing to spend on these games already and UF wasn't up there for them.

As for the UT game, well, I would like that but I have this inherent worry about playing teams with their backs against the wall. I rooted for Bama to barely beat OM so they wouldnt have that situation. I wouldnt want a desperate UT. FIts into our mold of blowing it

I am the same except the rain game I attended was awful. 2009 PSU/Iowa. Got in the student section 2 hours early and it rained from us walking to the stadium until the 3rd qtr or so. It was like 40 degrees and I had 3 layers on. Never been so soaked in my life. And to top it off PSU scored 10 pts off the bat, which was great, only to not score again as Iowa went on to whip arse.

UT currently has their back against the wall. If they lose to Arky, there is no wall. There may not even be a UT.

Having 9 7th graders spend the night at your house Saturday night is probably a deal you don't want to do either.

The daughter isn't for sale. The friends you can have
