You know those towns and County's. Like Houston County or Gulf Breeze FL that are known for pulling your over for going 8 mph over the speed limit? And make an industry out of it? Athens cops are the like that but with college kids. I guess going 1mph over the speed limit is breaking the law, but it's not enforced as such...
I agree some people get away with some serious shite there in Athens....maybe if they weren't so busy sniffing drinks and pulling over people who allegedly rolled through a stop sign, they could be stopping the serious shite....
I got pulled over for running a stop sign allegedly... it was late... I was sober. Had isnurance and all my tag stuff in order. Thing is, I came to a stop. He was full of shite, just trying to get a reason to get me for DUI. I'm sure 1/2 the cars on the road then were DUI, he was being lazy and taking shots at it. I guess it works for them though...

Where have you seen he was charged with a felony? Everything I've read, stated he was charged with misdeamenor possession of marijuana.

I don't think he was actually charged with a felony, but he openly admitted to committing a felony, lucky he wasn't charged. Also he pulled the athlete card several times, like that was gonna help him in Athens.
