My Miami buddy tells me Richt interviewed for bout 5 hours today at Miami. I don't think that will be a good fit for him. Maryland or Virginia would be better. They would go crazy for a string of 9 win seasons.

Meanwhile, I'm told Mark Richt's meeting with Miami today was actually in Atlanta, not Miami.

Innnteresting that people said they saw him in Miami on campus...or just saw someone who looked like him?

He'd have to do his back flip into a pool of blow...but that could be fun.

I could see Richt at UVA. Small college town like Athens, good academic university, plenty of wealthy alums who care about sports but aren't hell bent on it, etc. I will root for him wherever he goes.

I agree whole heartedly. Charlottesville is a great town.
