The fomer five-star prospect dominated in Georgia's ground attack a year ago but the coaches had a different plan for him this spring, his first as a Bulldog.

Instead of letting him do more of the same things he has done his whole life as a ball carrier, the UGA coaching staff made the decision to help him fine tune other parts of his game.

"This spring in particular, we didn't need to see him run between the tackles much. We wanted to see him improve in his third down pass protection, route running, ball catching," Richt said. "So when we scrimmaged, we subbed him in on every third down throughout every scrimmage. Throughout the entire spring, we weren't concerned with first and second down with him because that's been his bread and butter from the beginning."
