I loved Richt when he was here and he is a great man. With that being said, I would be furious if Kirby gave a good luck shoutout to Alabama.

I agree, but the situation is a bit different.
It's like if Bobo comes back to UGA and gives a shoutout to CSU. There's only a small chance we will ever play CSU.
Bama....on the other hand, there's a really good chance we will play them in the SECCG.

It's certainly different but Miami is still a school that competes with UGA for recruits on some level and has potential to be a national contender in the coming years unlike CSU.
