Radi reported that the head coach will be announced after the SEC Championship Game. If that is the case, I wonder if it will be Smart.

There's a whole thread dedicated to that in here, I expect chicken to provide counselors at any moment.

All I honestly know at this point is people knew something was up, then some of the guys on staff were told they were being retained.

Peter, some being retained would mean some are not. Who's pulling the strings? For Kirby?

As opposed to hiring Gundy, patterson or Shaw? Because those guys have won national titles at their current places and have recruited the Southeast ever?

Cochran would follow Kirby.

If that rascal would come, I would flip to the Smart camp immediately. Right now I want Herman.

That dude is a difference maker.

So tell me what connections Urban,Saban and Les had to the south before UF, and LSU. Saban was an 8 win coach at MSU, Les was basically the samething at Okie State, and Urban was the hot shot small school coach that had moved around the Midwest and west.

I'm not super thrilled about so many players voicing their opinions so publicly. They certainly have the right to, but it is making our program look bad.
