I agree with Sen. Blutarsky: Ramsey isn't the leader. He's just a name in the race.

Georgia coach Mark Richt said he doesn't anticipate a No. 1 QB will be named by end of spring. Said it's "not a big goal of ours."

Maybe they don't want the runner up to get discouraged and transfer before the season. That could be a problem with Eason coming in next year.

No need to "name" a starter when someone steps up and takes control of the team

Likely because there won't be a clear starter. I'm not sure you know who will start when you have group of young QB's with very limited playing time. I expect Ramsey to start vs ULM with the others getting some playing time. Whoever starts vs SC will probably be the starter most of the season barring injury.

What are the strengths and weaknesses of the three QBs so far?

I'm pulling for Park to live up to the hype. Ramsey has the arm but also has incurable dumbass syndrome. And honestly, I don't know anything about Bauta.

This ^ Hell, I'd rather have a Hutson Mason type QB back there than someone who turns it over because of terrible decisions.

Interesting. I fully expected Ramsey to enter Spring as the acknowledged #1 QB.

Looks like we may have a battle on our hands.

Well, if he had that potential, he wouldn't have been 3rd or 4th string last year, would he?

I mean he was a true freshman....he EE'd but the other guys had seniority and knew the playbook.

And put me on team Park cause Ramsey is gonna give me an ulcer with his love of turnovers

I'm hoping Park is the guy too. The video of Park I've seen, he's a tough kid who looks like he has no fear. Ramsey looked a little skittish in the pocket, although maybe that's just freshman jitters. I do believe that either one brings some new elements that were missing last year.

Wasn't the beef on Park that he was interception prone as well?

They both have decent arms, although Ramsey's is probably stronger. Park came to the program better groomed for a pro set, but Ramsey has been deep in our program for years now and has seen the field when it mattered. Should be a fun Spring.

I expect Ramsey to win the job.

Park has a gun back there. No slouch.

He was a red shirt. When exactly did you expect him to trot onto the field and play?

Unfortunately, I think all strong-armed young QBs love turnovers. Not sure Park would be an improvement there.
