Has he played this year? He was supposed to start over Ganus in the Summer. I feel like his shoulder issue is a bigger problem than previously thought. Could use him for Bama.

Carter dressed for the game but didn't play

Carter looking like a medical redshirt.
With the depth of LB's we've got probably best Reggie just takes the redshirt and comes back for 4 more.

Carter did play some against Vanderbilt, but not at all against ULM or SC.
Not sure about medical redshirt. Is it something requiring surgery that would be best done now. He's a junior, so I assume he would be granted two more seasons of eligibility. Maybe not a bad idea, as we will lose Ganus after this year.
