Let's say Richt departs at the end of the year and LSU cans Miles.

Would you welcome that crazy son of a bitch into the Classic City?

I thought about this. I feel like he is Richt with a title but beggars can't be choosers. It'd be fun for the quotes. I think he is better than Richt so by that metric it would be an upgrade. I'd just like to go after a few others first.

Oh, I'm not saying Les would be my first choice. But given that McGarity has never been in this type of hiring arena before and the fact that I have next to no confidence in the folks in charge actually hitting one out of the park, Miles seems like the healthy medium between "not who we really wanted" and "they did their best and did ok considering."

With that said, I think I'd at least have fun at games again knowing that we weren't going to take a knee every time we get the ball back with a full minute and a TO before the half.

We'd just all be bewildered when he would do a PA pass with 2 seconds left for a TD instead of winning on a FG

Not an upgrade, and we know it. No.

I think the only reason he has done as well as he has is the state of LA is loaded with elite talent and of it stays home. Different dynamic than Ga. I think he would be a down grade.

Les is just Richt with a natty he backed into, so it's not really an upgrade.

He's been to two nc games, though. We haven't even sniffed one. He wouldn't be high on my list either but he is an upgrade from Richt, albeit a minor one.

Gus at the Barn has been to a few, too, and I wouldn't want him here. I agree with Buck on this one.

With our drug policy there is no way he could be successful.

I want Miles to stay in the SEC but I don't want him at UGA

We'd also have to really get used to ineffective QB play on a yearly basis and this year has certainly soured me on that.

The fact that some of y'all actually believe both Miles and Richt are trash shows how delusional some people are around here.

About the same record as Richt in a tougher division which includes the best team in the country over those years. Won a Natty and played for another. Does not have the benefit of being in a top four recruiting state like Richt has. In the meantime Richt hasn't done shite since 2005. Yeah, lets keep our own trash and not take someone elses.

Per capita LA is the most talent rich state going. For the most part they stay in state too. So you'd be wrong on that count.

Neither are trash. But if we did get rid of Richt I'd rather it not be to hire a coach that I don't see as significantly better than him. What separates them is a NC and I'm not big on the luck excuse but everything that had to happen for LSU to get there in 07 is absurd.
