Any of the other confirming this. 24/7 says its a good chance but didn't really confirm a signing.

He can't officially sign anymore as the NLI deadline has passed. He is supposedly going to meet with Kirby and the staff tomorrow in Athens and is expected to be offered and to sign his financial papers

Any guess on what he would be ranking? 3 to 4 star?

High 4 star, everything going on around him sunk his rating.

Freakin' 2.16 GPA in HS! He must have bad callouses on his hands from dragging his knuckles.

Hope he can stay in Athens awhile once he gets there.

Making grades isn't hard if you give a shite and will put in the effort. Seems that he had a bad case of not giving a shite for most of high school until he realized the opportunity he had.

But if he shows up to UGA and stops giving a shite again, then yeah he's not going to last long.

Our mods were adamant that even if he made the grades he wouldn't have a spot. I wonder if Kirby and crew are putting out misinformation on purpose.

Well, with Chauncey Rivers apparently being eager to volunteer his scholarship, I'd say it's likely that we take him now. You just can't ever have enough quality depth at RB

Just watched his film. Todd Gurleyish style of play. Speed, power and change in direction

I thought Todd too when I saw him slice through the LOS and then burst out. Needs some instruction on form. I noticed on every called outside run he turned his shoulders in that direction just before the ball was snapped. Also, can he block and pick up the blitz? He needs that just as much as his running ability.

Yea, I was thinking same but it's just hard to say without knowing how fast he is. Gurley was/is very fast for a big man. That combination of power, speed and moves is what defines a RB like Gurley. Herrien is listed at 6'0" 200lb on 247 but he appears to have a frame to player bigger. Hudl has him at 6'1" 205 with 4.45 speed. LINK

This ain't the North Avenue trade school, it's UGA for crying out loud.

This isn't going popular but redshirt him and attach him at the hip to 27 as a mentor.
