Jesus, dude, I'm not pleased with the loss either but calm the frick down. A first year HC with a true freshman at QB and true freshmen all over the field. Let's pump the breaks on calling him a total failure right now.

This loss was almost identical to the 4th quarter of the 1998 Tech game.
Same scenario with a 2 score lead and basically the same result.

There has to blame placed on somebody...and it can't be Eason because everyone sold out on him being the second coming.
it was a shitty loss - but CKS knows what he wants to do and is learning too. This will improve.

The decision to throw on 2nd and 8 with 3:39 left after the TO instead of running clock and making GT use TO's was bad.

We need a better offensive mind just for the sake of playcalling.
We win this game and Vandy if we don't make dumb calls in crunch time. Hell, we even led UT the entire game until we passed and fumbled in our own endzone with 3 minutes left.
That's 3 games where horrible playcalling led to a loss - the difference between 10-2 and 7-5.

I´m hoping he installs some mental toughness, WTF was with Reggie Davis mouthing off after his TD catch (and drawing an unsportsmanlike call)? A clear ´Richt has lost control´ moment.

Earlier in the year I thought Kirby was Goff 2.0, even said it on this board. But after watching our progress as the year goes on, I've changed my mind.
Kirby Smart is Derek Dooley before he had any coaching experience. UGA is demonstrating to the college football world how to destroy a program in two simple steps. Fire the most successful coach in school history, and hire a nobody. Even better if your fan base is so stupid that they won't figure it out until we're in a five year hole that'll take decades to fix.
