Disappointed in the way the team responded. Too much UNCONTROLLED emotion rather than FOCUSED emotion.

Blocked punt was the moment the game got away.

Defense played its arse off the first 20 minutes of play. Handed the offense the ball in Ala territory and we run three and punt. Held Bama to a field goal after a long drive.

Offense seemed to panic too soon. It seemed we didn't have a clue. Though Michel was underused. Lambert looked bad but I couldn't see bringing Ramsey out first in the third qtr. Make your halftime adjustments and go back to Lambert.

Can we not pooch kick?

We got no pressure on the Bama qb. Where the hell was Leonard Floyd yesterday?

Still got some growing up to do in the secondary.

On that first Bama TD pass there were 3 receivers open. Later they ran the same play and hit the intermediate pass across the middle. In the 3rd quarter they ran it again and hit for a 1st down on the right sideline. Never any adjustment?

Floyd is a heck of a player but he is kind of a one trick pony being a speed guy. He really isn't built to play inside linebacker and power games like yesterday will expose him. Those games also expose what happens when we miss on bigtime, homegrown talent like Ruben Foster, R. McMillan, and Nkemdichi. We needed some of those heavies in the middle.

We couldn't find a shoebox big enough to hold the money those guys got.

Biggest disappointment yesterday was the lack of a pass rush. Our OLb were non existent...Coker had all the time he needed.

The defense couldn't get lined up. We were out of place at the snap, it seemed, all day long.

The defense is built to stop spread teams. Rocker has to get his guys in quickly and develop them.

Ball and Bobo didn't leave us any WRs at all sans Mitchell. Reggie Davis is a no. 4 at best. The young receivers need to play and find the best deep threat.

We got humbled but Richt basically has to run the table. He needs that SEC Championship to fend off detractors, otherwise I would like to look in another direction.

He needs to tinker with the offense a bit. would like to see a dual threat QB on every recruiting cycle. It's hard to be successful running a pro style offense without an elite QB or O line, perhaps even both.

So, not only did we Richt the game, we Granthamed it, too.

Yep. Our receivers were doing it all day too. That's what was so weird. The pregame warm-ups where as crisp and precise as I've ever seen. I will never completely understand this game.

It's like the old prize-fighting adage - everyone has a plan until they get hit.

When everything goes to plan, we usually do well. The problem is when they don't - Richt's teams just don't seem to recover when things start to go bad.
