Most posters here expect Lambert to play and lose against Florida. If that happens do you think maybe Ramsey and/or Bauta will get significant playing time if we are out of the SEC race?

You are talking about our coaches, right?

If Bauta hasn't played at this point then I seriously doubt he will against Florida.

I think OP means do you think Bauta would get a shot after the UF game, since we would be out of the race at that point.

I don't think so. Maybe Ramsey.

My post was not worded very well. I'm wondering whether Lambert will play for the remainder of the season if he plays bad and loses the Florida game.

I believe team chemistry was destroyed by starting an interloper who failed to perform instead of the guys who've been there for years.

Gotcha, principle still stays the same though with Bauta, if he hasn't taken a somewhat meaningful snap all year after what we've witnessed with GL and BR, then I guess the coaches must really think he doesn't have what it takes.

Lambert would keep playing. We have him next season too.

I think Ramsey and Bauta are pretty much SOL.

The chemistry would be worse if our second string quarterback had been able to throw 2 to 3 interceptions a game. Do not play him.

I keep forgetting this. I want to forget this.

We are going to be faced with starting a true freshman or a senior who has experience but not much else. Where have I seen this go wrong before...

You got a big imagination.

Nope. Lambert will start every game this year unless he gets hurt. Ramsey might get a token snap or two each game, but the coaches have hitched their wagons to Lambert. I also expect Ramsey and Bauta to transfer after the season is completed.

If Lambert starts next year so that we can redshirt Eason, I honestly believe that we might not be bowl eligible at the end of the season.

There is almost a zero percent chance of that happening, especially if Ramsey and Bauta transfer.

Wasting a year on Eason redshirting would be absolutely idiotic. We should at least get the full 3 years out of him (if he's as good as advertised) instead of two and a redshirt.

Eason has stated that he WANTS to take a redshirt, and Richt has shown that he doesn't exactly want to start a true frosh at QB.

So your saying Richt already has a built in excuse to suck next year. Things are starting earlier than usual. We might as well just round it to an even 20 year reign of mediocrity before we can sniff anything relevant. Oh well, Hillary will probably ban football by then anyway since a shotgun and pistol are involved.

Well, there is another possibility. The possibility exists that with another 6 games of experience...plus spring ball...plus fall practice...that Lambert will become a pretty decent quarterback.

I mean, you never know...he was completely new to the UGA offense when he arrived a couple of months before the season started. Just sayin'

The problem with this statement is that he's regressed as the season has gone on.

Stafford did, and Murray would have except he was hurt (shoulder). Especially if you have drippings, you start the kid. No way it can be worse (this assumes we have a respectable OLine which is always a gamble).
