If Pruitt isn't offered an HC job this year, then I think next year will be the year he gets one. Based on the current crop of DCs at mid-major schools, who should we be looking at in a year? I say mid-major because few DCs at top power 5 schools will make a lateral move.

Happy now?

Few DC's at top power 5 schools will make a lateral move? You mean the exact move that Pruitt made?

Few are chasing the coeds and ruining their marriage. There was a reason he was anxious to leave.

I'm assuming you're talking high school HC jobs, right?

Also, "longetivity" isn't a word.

Also, this bored is unreadable...

I think Pruitt is at UGA for at least 3 more years.

And I'm sure the $350,000 pay raise had nothing to do with it.

some DCs (like Mickey Andrews) don't have the organizational skills or temperament to be a HC..not sure Pruitt does..

Not so sure bout that.College campuses have always been a playground for GA's and asst coaches to chase tail.

A few of my friends who are former players and kind of as dialed in as anyone not currently in the program think otherwise. In fact, they both are hearing he might leave on his own accord after this year. If Kirby leaves Bama, it is all but certain that Pruitt fills the DC position at Bama.....or so they both say as of yesterday. I don't know. I just listen to what they think based on who they claim to talk to and it seems pretty straight forward that he wants out.

I don't know shite nor have any connections....but I Pruitt leaves I don't see how the fan base will tolerate a team with just Richt and Schotty. That's a fricking deal breaker.
