Why would ATL not resign him??? He was a small but crucial element of the offense the past couple seasons. Huge loss for us

As a Bills fan, I'm excited about DiMarco. He is one of the top 3 FBs in the NFL and he only cost $4m guaranteed the next 4 years. Surely the Falcons cound've at least matched that offer? Maybe Sark doesn't like FB's?

There are a few FBs this year who are big, strong, and can catch some passes out of the backfield so I imagine they feel that they can replace him for cheaper.

We don't have much cap room, we still have a couple of big signings to make, and we could probably get the same level of production for much cheaper.

DFree's agent has been a massive c.unt throughout this process, makes me wonder if a deal will get done.

Sark doesnt use a FB much in his system. He uses more of a 2 TE set. Losing DiMarco isnt going to be that big of a deal.

well we need some TEs then. Cooper and Tamme are ok but none of these guys are game changers

Tyson Jackson cut this morning, should save us around 2.5 million, possibly up to 4 million. Not sure if we're gonna try to make a big DT signing in FA, or sign a steady vet and use a couple of draft picks on the position.

Tamme, Hooper, and Toilolo. If we keep 4, DJ Tialavea is basically a fullback.

Thats good. Tru next, then Matt and Freeman.

That should open up a little more cap room. Should end up with around 25 mil.

Dontari Poe is a name thats getting a lot of traction. Rumors are that there will be a deal by the end of today.

And with Poe it sounds like he wants a 1 year deal to prove he's worthy of big money, then get a big deal next offseason. I'd be happy if we could rent him for a year at a reasonable(ish) price.

Falcons signed Jack Crawford, rotation DE from Dallas, to a 3 year deal. Definitely doesn't sound like a big impact guy, read more about him here. LINK

Agree with these....

and Freeman

But not this. I love Freeman and he runs hard as shite, but you can find RBs in the middle rounds of the draft who run hard on cheap deals, sort of how we found Freeman.

It's a price thing... If you can get him at a reasonable price locked up, then sure... but if he's wanting comparable to the highest paid RBs, probably gotta say bye.
