Update 7/14: Official Tag Release: UGA License Plate in Alabama

All chapters are getting involved in getting a UGA license plate for the state of Alabama. If you are interested in signing up, let me know and I'll keep you all updated. 1,000 people need to sign up for it to happen.... and I know there are thousands of Dawgs in Alabama.

Brave souls. I lived in Jacksonville for years and would never put anything UGA on my car. I valued the paint job too much. Maybe Bama fans have more class than UF fans (come to think of it, who doesn't have more class than UF fans).

TN has tags for every damn state it seems except for GA. I think I'm gonna start a FB page, lots of Dawg fans here in TN.

I got cornered by some guy in the grocery store a few years back trying to make the GA plates happen in TN. I don't get what the big deal is. Buy a $5 decal and call it a day.

Hi just a quick update on the UGA Alabama license plate. UGA should have the official tag design finished very soon and I will share it with you all as soon as they give it to me. Once the tag design has been completed the University will fill out the application and turn it in to the State of Alabama. We have to appear before the tag committee prior to the plate being placed on the Alabama DMV website its just a formality and will not hold us up. We will have one calendar year from the date the tags are placed online for purchase to meet the necessary 1000 precommit tag orders for the tag to go into production. The alumni association has agreed to send out one mass email to all registered UGA alumni living here in Alabama once the application has been sent in .Please stay tuned to our page Bring UGA License Plate to Alabama for updates and info . I am about to get new tags and I discovered this. They have the god damn yellow jackets but not Georgia. fricking Tennessee, man.

I remember thinking it had to be some screw up online when I discovered it. They have more friggin schools than I am pretty sure GA has and here we are.
I, personally, think this means I should spit on even more fans at the games in TN this year.
