I did rehab instead of surgery.
Do ALL the PT recommended and then some.

I had a detached labrum and torn cuff. Mine was stabilized for six weeks. Best advice: be aggressive in your rehab. I saw people that weren't and they never got their strength/range back. I was and mine is absolutely healed.

Had the surgery a year ago July 25th. Feinted due to BP medicine/dehydration/heat exhaustion. Fell on forearm so hard I dislocated my shoulder, tore 2 ligaments with other 2 strained.

3hr surgery at Wellstar Windy Hill hospital done by a Resurgens Dr..

If it's your shoulder that is attached to the arm you wipe your arse with I hope you've been practicing with the other arm..

Opoid induced constipation will be your friend the 1 st 2 weeks till you run out of Oxycodone...

Rehab is a bitch but follow the PT guys instructions to a tee. Expect a minimum of 12 weeks of 2 times a week rehab...

Will post some pics when I get home...

Thats my elbow right above the contusion for reference... fricked it up pretty good...

That wasn't a break or anything, just a monster contusion. Landed straight down on forearm so hard it dislocated my shoulder and tore 2 of the 4 stablizing ligaments in my shoulder...

I was rearended in June. Full tear of supraspinatus. Surgeon had to cut the biceps tendon and reattach it to relieve the stress on the biceps. It had been partially contracted since impact on June 19. Also shaved a bone spur. 3 hours in surgery. Home now.

Dallas - they gave me neuro block and Percocet 10 instead of OxyContin...and yes, I've been practicing lol

Just read that you said oxycodone and read my pill bottle and that's what I have. I have never had to have many prescription painkillers. I really don't know much about them.

Damn, brah, that looks ugly.

I might be in your neck of the woods sometime next weekend. You gonna be around? Gotta rotate the tires on my camper under the shed.

Holiday, get better soon. Spanking it with one hand takes some of the fun out of it.

Might try to stop by Sunday afternoon. Going to watch GT tear UT a new one Monday night.

If you see a silver GMC, stop by.

Thanks rules...I'll just spank it with the left and call it a "stranger".

For those who are wondering....when the neuro block goes...it goes suddenly...and it fricking sucks. Took 2 Percocet an hour ago and they haven't touched the pain.
