OT: Road closures between Beaufort SC and Charleston SC

We are going to take our children to Charleston this weekend (specifically the Yorktown at Patriots Point) and going up 17. Anyone know if that area is open or has any been closed due to the flooding? Thanks in advance!

Yeah. Work at the big airplane place. We will be at Parris Island for part of the morning and the onto Charleston - that is, if everything is open.

I need to visit Parris Island. I haven't seen that place since I left in 2006.

Love the golf course at Parris - one of the best military courses I have played on. My wife is stationed there and we have a couple things to do before heading to Charleston.

It was awesome! Me and my old Corporal almost flipped his Montero Sport driving up to it one day. We liked to get breakfast at the pro shop and he came around a corner too fast. We did a 360 and realized that he's an idiot.
