If you are a white man over the age of 25, you should use this term:
A - only for the irony of making fun of white men over 25 who use it in earnest.
B - completely in earnest, nothing wrong with it.
C - if you are literally medically mentally retarded
D - Never...under ANY circumstances.

D, I'd also lower the age bar to 18. Nobody who has graduated high school should be using this word.

I am 43 so, its way out of my comfort zone except for making fun of folks who use it in earnest. I was talking to a guy at work the other day, also over 40...we were talking about going to the gym and he looks at me and says "yeah man, being swole is awesome". I was waiting for him to start laughing...he never did. I just walked away.

A
Still, alot of redneck w.iggers(yes, they exist)use this word alot in this area. Guaranteed to have a Brantley County tag and a Saltlife sticker in the back window of their old mufflerless Nissan or Honda "street racer".

I don't know what the frick y'all are talking about.
Why would anyone feel ashamed of using that word?
Yesterday, my 7 year old son was rough-housing and fell down and his arm got bruised and it swole up a little.
I had to tell him to suck it up and walk it off.
15 minutes later, boom! It was like nuthin happened...

I'm a white man over the age of 25 and I don't have a clue what "swole" means. Although I have said "my foot swole up" and such.

I've never heard the word in real life. I thought it was just an e-term like "butt hurt" etc.
