Amazing thread. Will transcribe to Sanskrit and copy onto a scroll. Bury in a time capsule for my great great great grandchildren to find and read.

Maybe there's still some hope for this thread.
Here's another angle of the crash that's now appearing in news reports from a fan's camera on their phone. LINK
I also did not know that NASCAR had a policy that tracks would be liable for injuries to fans. Most venues are going to disclaim that kind of liability.

"Morgan, a prominent personal injury attorney in Orlando who has represented victims of injuries during NASCAR races before, told Sporting News his client isn't seeking a large settlement, but enough to cover immediate out-of-pocket and possible future medical expenses. The Meyers do not have medical insurance, Morgan said."
Yet another angle. Even though she was treated and released by the doctors and nurses at the track medical center, she is seeing a specialist and physical therapist about back, shoulder, and neck pain. She only wants enough to cover future medical bills, however vague that may be.
Five were treated at the infield medical center but only one went to the hospital. Now thirteen claim they were injured. Sounds like a MARTA bus accident. Ten riders and fifty file claims from the same chiropractor.
