Well, I suck. I failed to cancel my appt this week and I get billed a missing appt fee.

He'll never see my teeth again.

You should really try to make those appointments. I missed one last year and really shouldnt have.

This is my biggest peeve in healthcare.

"We charge a $50 fee for late arrivals but we're going to be playing with our dicks in the hall closet for half an hour before we even call you back there."

Last time I waited 45 minutes before they called me back there, and I told them I would be invoicing them for a late fee. I got in for free.

I don't charge for missed appts..there is some gray area legally in doing that. if somebody seems challenged in keeping their appts, we may require pre-payment for the next appt made, but the patient is apprised in detail in how that works.

We haven't found a dentist we like yet either, having lived in Gwinnett for over a year. Anybody with suggestions, let me know.
