I've been on the Rant for several years now, I don't chime in a lot but, I read here a whole lot. There's usually a curiosity about who's behind the keyboard. So, I thought I'd share this with you guys. Go ahead and take your shots, I can handle it.
Here's the page from my blog with the video:

You look like what I picture Jefferson to look like. You may have a tad more pedo look though.

Actually that belongs to my son. I'm more of a Galaga man, myself.

Cool mane. Most if the time people sound like idiots on the news, you did good.

How many pair of velcro shoes do you have?

Aw man, you must be rich? We just wander around barefoot all the time, can't afford no luxuries like shoes. Especially with Velcro? Man, that's high living right there.

Not one, but two 1980 National Championship Coke bottles.... Nice.
That's quite a vinyl collection. What would be your prized favorite records from the collection?

I've been on the local news twice, but one of those times, it wasn't me in the Mall Bathroom.

Thanks DL. I figured I'd throw it out here for the hell of it.

Too bad the Herschel Walker Starting Lineup figure was just out of the shot!
Prized records? Man, that's a tough question. I have some Prince promos and imports that are quite rare, probably more so now. I tend more toward 80s dance music and the 12" singles from that period, which are out of print and some not so easy to find. But, I suppose their value is in the eye of the beholder. It's certainly a niche collection of records.

There's always a silver lining.

Are those also called 45s? Used to have a whole bunch that eventually got stolen out of a storage facility. Scumbag filth pieces of democrat shite...
I have all my dad's old records in the attic though. He was into the 60s and 70s singer/songwriters. Folk and country. Need to hit a yard sale and try to find a record player one day so I can actually listen to them some time.

No, 45s are usually 7" in diameter with the larger spindle hole in the center, while a 12" single is the same size as an album with the smaller spindle hole. However, some 12" singles do play at 45RPM but most play at 33 1/3. 12" singles usually contained an extended or remixed version of a song that differed greatly from the original album cut. Targeted mostly at DJs, dance clubs or discos. A lot of times they also included instrumental versions, a cappellas and dub versions, used by DJs to create their own mixes.
