I'm no Probst fan, but I saw the headbutt. The player was wearing a helmet and Rush was not. He was the only one hurt as far as I could tell. A year seems excessive to me.

Agreed. the kid was wearing a helmet. I've seen a lot worse and had a lot worse done to me.

Knowing his personal history, this seems like they found any reason they could to suspend him for likely other things.

You have to play by the rules of the times. For instance if a road is posted as 55 mph speed limit you can drive 55, but if someone decides to change that road to a 35 mph speed limit then you have to drive 35. When Erk was coaching that was acceptable, at this time it is not and Rush knows that.
