She was a bitch & grabbed him 1st but you just don't punch out a drunk college slut. Jesus, just walk away...

I wanted so badly for this to be him acting way out of line. But she was instigating the whole thing. He shouldn't have hit her, but what I thought was him getting off easy seems like a reasonable punishment. From a legal standpoint, anyways.

She grabbed him 1st??
Looked pretty clear to me that he was trying to push his way up to the bar in between the two girls. The one he punched got to the bar before him and then he proceeded to pin her up against the bar while forcing his way to the front. She turned around with her fist clenched (which indicates he called her some name), and then HE grabs her right wrist first. This is when she swings at him with her left hand and then he immediately close-fist punches her with a full on right-hook.
Sure, she looked drunk, but the whole thing started with him pushing her up against the bar like an a-hole. And I'd bet dollars to donuts he called her the "C" or "B" word after she leaned her head back as he was pushing her.
90% of this is on him if you ask me. You might even argue 100% because her taking a swing was legitimately self-defense since he had a hold of her wrist.

Bartender has overalls on and the other dude gives a terrible pour.
I don't think the girl was a bitch. Dude pushes all up on her. Friggin show some respect or at least acknowledgement of how to deal with drunk women.

Yeah, you just don't hit a female unless you're in real danger and it's the most extreme situation ever, like they got a knife or a gun pointed at you or someone.
That was just a dude in a bar getting rage arse pissed that somebody got the open spot at the bar to order drinks in front of him and he decided he was bigger and entitled and was going to push his way up there anyways, except she pushed back.

Actually at the 1:47 mark she seems to ask him to not push up on her or at least something along those lines. He continues.
And yes, the tank top plague strives in Tallacrappy. I've seen even at some bars where there are signs saying no tank tops allowed.

And now his attorney has put out a statement saying he is embarrassed for his actions but he was clearly not the instigator in this situation. So it's her fault for him punching her like that
