I wonder how differently the same music sounds to these two..
You would have to think that Finebaum's giant ears provide a much fuller bodied sound and with richer acoustical tones than Dobb's miniature ears can produce.
Or does ear-size have more to do with being able to hear things from far off distances?
Maybe the evolution for survival of smaller weaklings like Finebaum required being alert to predator noises from far away so that his primal ancestors could run and hide from danger.... therefore requiring giant ear acoustics. And maybe DObbs ancestors didn't give a frick because they'd just club anything that stepped up and tried to front....which meant that their hearing powers didn't need to be accentuated and so their ears remained small. I don't know. Nature is weird.
