I discovered Orpheus brewing the other night while at wise owls. Its closing in on creature comfort as my favorite.

The last 2 nights I've been getting hammered on it.

Transmigration is dangerous. 10% and really smooth

Just had Creature Comforts Epicurius the other day. It's solid

Scofflaw makes solid IPAs too

Louisiana had a few good breweries, mainly Parish brewing being the best. However, since moving its hard picking a local favorite. The different breweries here are all really good.

Ive also been digging Coastal Empire, I had their IPA friday night.

Yea the transmigration is dangerous, I drank the entire growler thursday night and the next morning I was paying for it.

Ghost in the machine is just insane good.

I wish Georgia would get on board and stop with this silly you can only buy tasting stuff. I want to go to the tap rooms and get as much as id like.

I do really like the growler filling stations here though

Now that's it's getting colder again, Terrapins Wake and Bake is probably my favorite local winter beer.

Definitely a good one, off the tap at the right temp.

One of my all time favorites.

Technically it is a ripoff of the Rogue coffee stout, but Terrapin's is better, alot better.

I haven't had that beer in years, it's time for me to have some alone time at Trapeze and sip one soon. Is it out yet?

Ours does free pint glasses with a full on Thursdays. They just stocked up a ton of creature comfort.

It should be fun sending emails to firms tomorrow after another night of Orpheus

trying to get a job. I tried to use head hunters being new to the area, but now I'm being proactive.

What does the bottle label look like?

Let me guess..... it's a turtle with red eyes and a 420 tattoo sitting up in bed having just awoken and he's smoking a sweet bowl of "hopps" (wink wink, hopps looks just like weed. Get it?? WEED REFERENCE!!!! Weed is cool!!)

Serious question: What the frick do these gay hippie turtle pothead cutesy "Wake and Bake" names have to do with beer?

It's so fricking stupid. Oh yeah, and what are the cool hippie words written on the canned version by the lid? "Harmony", "Weed", "Paddle sports", "Unity", "Weed"

Just mind-numbing poser stupid

It's one of the best coffe stouts out there I think, and they always come up with some wild spin-offs.

I don't know if it's out this week, or if it's more Mid-November. We have some friends wanting to go to Terrapin on Saturday, so I'll find out soon.

Have you tried the Terrapin with the hippie turtle on it playing a banjo?

ON the lid of the can they printed these buzzwords on it like "Rhythm", "Harmony", "Paddle Sports, "Oneness", and "Weed!"

They do that because that's what beer is all about. It's definitely not some weird poser gimmick marketing to college kids. It's legit brewmaster kind of stuff
