Me and a group of coworkers will be in Mcrae, GA for a golf trip Oct 28-30. Was thinking about riding over to Statesboro the thursday night we will be down there. Then I saw on GSU's schedule they are playing at home that night against Texas St. Have any of yall ever gone to a game in Statesboro? Pretty easy to get tickets? Places to party in Statesboro?

Roommate is a Southern grad and biggest southern fan i've ever met. I have been to many games there as he also is my best friend.

Just walk up to the ticket office and buy them

A lot is changed since my days in the Boro, but there is still bars there. Gonna be an 18-22 year old crowd in all of them.

If I'm not mistaken, they've put a stop to that.

The majority of my family graduated from GSU and I have been to many games. As said before, tickets shouldn't be a problem getting. The stadium is beautiful and the games are generally pretty fun and they even have a nice little tailgate scene. As far as bars go, Dingus is a pretty decent bar but that's about it. I have heard there are a few new ones but I haven't been to the Boro for a game in quite some time.
