But really, didn't get the hype it was ok but nothing great. The new carmike is pretty cool though

Entertaining but I felt let down thanks to overhype and lack of downpools girlfriends arse.

Deadpool was the best comic book movie since TDK.

Haven't seen GOTG. Didn't look like my cup of tea. I'll have to check it out.

im not a big comic book guy, dont go watch the movies or anything and have never read a single one.
But as far as a movie fan, TDK is in a different stratosphere than Deadpool. Mostly due to The Joker. Deadpool didnt have a single character that was even close to Heath's Joker.
Deadpool wasn't bad, but I just didnt see what all the fuss was about. The main character was just a smartass, which apparently that is how he is in the comics so thats cool, but other than that it was just another super hero movie with a predictable story arc.

Batman vs Superman was really good, Ben Affleck was a great Batman, despite the critics and all the jokes
The Batman character really got back to the DK roots & was much less of a Saturday morning cartoon boy scout

Why not? GOTG is original, funny, and it has a great soundtrack.

I could not disagree more. BvS was dogshit to me. I liked all the actors but:
Blatant awful CGI
Batman killing People
Dumb Storyline
Terrible Editing
Lazy Execution
Slapped On, Silly Finale
Lack of any Depth
And a lot more.
It was dark to be dark, not because what story there is called for it in any way.

What an artsy thread. If you didn't like Deadpool, then you just aren't cool enough to get it? I used to read the comics too. The movie was OK at best. I liked it, but won't watch it again.
Then again, I am about Marveled out with all of the superhero movies. I expect to see Spiderman versus Sharknado any day now as they are desperate for new ideas.
